The Vegas Golden Knights are focusing on gratitude and service this week as they host food drives, military appreciation, and the “Valiant” documentary screening.
November 11-16
Food Drive at City National Arena– Donation bins will be placed around the facility to accept canned goods that will subsequently be donated to Three Square Food Bank.
The Vegas Golden Knights have practices most days this week between 10am and 2pm, so this is a great time to catch a practice while doing something good for the community. Keep an eye on the VGK Ladies or Vegas Golden Knights Twitter page for practice times.
The Knights will cap off the drive with a donation event from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. PT on November 16. Those who donate at the event on November 16 will be entered in a raffle for a chance to win autographed Golden Knights items. Fans in attendance can also enjoy a photo opportunity with Chance from 12-1 p.m., face painting, and other family activities.
November 13
Military Appreciation Night– The Vegas Golden Knights face the Chicago Blackhawks at T-Mobile Arena at 7pm.
The Knights will wear special camouflage jerseys during warmups that will be signed and auctioned off during the game. Veterans and active military members will be honored throughout the game. All proceeds of the auction and 51/49 raffle will benefit the Folded Flag Foundation.
November 17
Before the 4pm game against the Calgary Flames, fans with tickets to the game can come early to T-Mobile and enjoy a screening of the “Valiant” documentary.
“Valiant” documents the creation and incredible first season of the Vegas Golden Knights, and how a hockey team was able to help Las Vegas Valley residents come together and begin to heal from the terrible tragedy that took place on October 1, 2017.
Doors open at 1pm for the 1:30pm screening of the film. Following the film there will be a special Q&A session with members of the production team, as well as some individuals that appeared in the film.

Thanks to their support and passion, we embarked on a truly improbable journey together while enjoying one of the most successful inaugural seasons in North American sports history. We hope audiences around the world enjoy the film and we are excited for its debut on November 17 at the Fortress.
